I tackle a lot of really intense DIY's and sometimes I really need a small one to break up all the work that the others demand. So here is a great little DIY that absolutely everyone can do!

I absolutely love the vintage hob nob vases, and I actually own a few pieces, however I was really looking for a small little planter to hold one of my tiny ferns.

So I thought what better way than to create a small DIY to make a hob nob piece.

I headed to the dollar store and collected the items below.

  • Small round Bowl
  • Round raised stickers
  • Super Glue

I had spray paint at home, but if you don't you'll want to grab a can.

Now that I had all my supplies, I sat down and figured out where best to place the round stickers. I added a small dab of the super glue to the back of the dot and placed it carefully on the glass.

I spaced the dots about 1" apart, because on traditional Hob Nob the raised areas are separated.

Moving onto the next line of dots, I moved it down about 1/2" and then placed a dot in-between the dots in the line above. I continued that same process all the way to the bottom of the glass.

Once I had gotten to this point, I let it sit for about 10 minutes just to make sure the glue had dried. I then took the glass outside and sprayed it white to give it that true hob nob look.

I was so excited with how it turned out and how cheap it was to create!
