Best bathtub cleaner solution ?
Bathtub cleaner . Do not send the dawn/ vinegar or oven cleaner solution. I have a ring that want come out. The bathtub is clean except for that stubborn ring . It’s a tub surround unit. Material may be the problem for the stubbornness . I’ve used oven cleaner diy on other tub it works fine.

Try 2 parts baking soda and one part peroxide. Spread it on the ring and let it sit for a half hour, then scrub.
Scrub the ring with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
I’ve used that. It’ so odd. I believe it’s the tub surround material. The tub is not dirty it just has this ring that looks like it’s apart of the material. Thanks for sharing
I second the Magic Eraser! I've been surprised by what it'll lift.
I had residue that was stuck in a design on my old tub. I tried Kaboom spray and then scrubbed off with a soft brush. Kaboom is something I use when I just can't get something out in the bathroom. It works! Plus it goes on blue and when it's done, turns white, so no guesswork! Good luck and stay safe!
One of the best things I've seen for that is using toilet cleaner.
use boiling 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water solution if it is enamel tub. This will remove the minerals that are preventing bleach to remove any stain. Then warm water with bleach. I let each process soak overnight... possible 2 nights. My old clawfoot tub came out beautifully white.
Try a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.

Do you know who the manufacturer of the surround is? If so, maybe give them a call and discuss the issue.
I used Awesome cleaner from the Dollar store and it worked fine. If the ring is etched from hard water us CLR.

I use Dollar Tree Awesome Orange cleaner in the half gallon for all the filthy tubs I do at clients homes.
Norwex cleaning paste has a grit to it that may help you get the ring off. You can google where to buy it. Good luck!

Hi Lynn, I would try a beach solution, but once you get it clean you may want to try to seal it, sounds like the finish may be worn off.
