DIY Door Muff
Nothing worse than waking a sleeping baby, right?
Luckily for us, little miss thang sleeps pretty well. But, it could be because we never make a click as we come in and out of her room to check on her at night.
Before making one for myself, I made two for one of my best friend's boys and with as much as she loved hers, I knew I had to have one too.
Here's how I did it!

When you start with just a piece of fabric and some ribbon, only magic can happen after that, right?
If you're a sew'n lady, this will be all stuff you have on hand except maybe the cute fabric that you want to pick out specifically for this project.
I used two 6" x 5" pieces of fabric, but be sure to double check the length from the outside of the door knob around to the other side of the door knob to make sure the 6 inches isn't too long.
I used two 3.5" x 5" pieces of light-colored felt fabric so it didn't show through my fabric. You may need to adjust this size if you door handle to handle size of fabric is smaller, but keep with the same ratios.
You are going to fold this over and pin it for two different pieces. Trim off any access at the corners to it doesn't get bunched up.
If you don't have a sewing machine, no worries. You can definitely hand-stitch this too.
Once you have your two pieces sewn to their respective felt, you will want to place your ribbon in between the two pieces and pin the sandwich together - felt/fabric piece one, then two pieces of ribbon sticking out on each side, then felt/fabric piece number two.
Sew around the edges to secure the ribbon and tie it on your door!

Little Miss Thang and a door muff. So don't get any of it. A piece of tape would do the same thing and never heard that and infant couldn't sleep with the click of a door.

I never shut the bedrooms door 44+ years ago (the 44 yrs is my youngest age) because we didn't have monitors then and I needed to be able to hear them. However, would have loved a door cushion that didn't allow the door to be slammed shut as my middle daughters fingers got injured *she was okay) when her older sister shut the door on her
