Baking soda and vinegar, then warm water. Undo the p-trap and leave a container under the opening for stuff to drain out. I use about a cup of baking soda and 1 cup of vinegar, it will foam and clean out the drain, I use tweezers to pull out ex: hair etc...
You could use a drain snake to unplug drains. They are very long with teeth up on one side. You feed it into the drain and then when you pull it back up, the teeth will grab onto hair, soap, and anything else that might be in the drain. No chemicals at all.
Put dishsoap down the drain then add very hot water, I would hesitate using boiling water because it has the potential to melt the plumbers pipe adhesive. The use a plunger next.
Pour boiling water down the drain. Then add a half cup of baking soda and let it sit for a minute. Pour a cup of vinegar and a cup of hot water down the drain. Cover loosely and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Pour another pot of boiling water down the drain to flush out the clog.
