Hello. Making a paper pattern template would be recommended.
Hi Donna, you can make a paper pattern for a guide to cover your shade. Get a large piece of paper or newspaper and "roll" the shade completing across the paper, marking the design as you go. You will end up with a long curved pattern which you can use to cut either fabric or whatever ou're going to use to cover the shade. You can use spray adhesive to adhee the covering to the existing shade.
