Hi Lynne. Begin with a clean surface. Clean off any dust. Apply adhesive (size) with a foam brush. Gently lay a sheet of gold leaf down on top of the adhesive. Then brush over it with a soft brush to remove any shreds. Good luck Lynne.

purchase gold leaf as well as fresh garlic. The garlic juice will act like a binding agent, when you breathe on it before adding the gold leaf.
