Elegant Desk Makeover

Hello loverlies! I have another makeover to share with you today.

This poor neglected desk was completely transformed with a bit of paint (and a lot of primer).

The top had seen better days. You can also see the wear around the drawers and the legs. I love the shape of the desk and the little scallop detail beneath the center drawer. So charming.

I always prep my furniture.

The desk needed a bit of sanding to smooth out the neglect and scratches.

Due to the age of the desk, it is best to seal it with a good primer to prevent the stain from seeping thru.

I used Champness and Raw Silk by Fusion Mineral Paint.

The hardware was cleaned up and reused because it fit so perfectly with the new paint color.

What a difference a bit of paint makes!
