DIY Vinyl Bead Board Ceiling
A vinyl bead board ceiling is easy to install, looks beautiful, resists moisture & looks just like real wood bead board! Sharing the details of how we added this vinyl bead board ceiling to our farmhouse boys bathroom.
Our bathroom ceiling in the boys bathroom was covered in wallpaper & in really bad shape.
When we took down the previous bathroom ceiling & wallpaper sheets, we realized the previous owners had covered up a vaulted bathroom ceiling! We still can not believe why the covered it up to begin with!
After peeling down the wallpaper and opening up the vaulted ceiling we added the vinyl bead board sheets to our ceiling with strong glue & pin nailing the sheets into the joists.
We filled in the nail holes, painted the ceiling with primer & white paint and added trim where the ceiling and wall met.
We could not be happier with how our vinyl bead board ceiling turned out! The new vaulted ceiling & white bead board make the room feel bigger & much brighter than it was before.
