Can anyone tell me about this furniture piece?
Hi team. does anyone know what this is? It has a little mirror under the shelf . Also any idea of time period? It's not very big. 60 cm across. And 100 cm high.

I think you have your answer. For something comparable you could also search for valets.
Hi Lauriane. I thought it might be a phone desk from the 1920's. Back then you sat near the phone desk to make and receive phone calls. The phones were a lot bigger back then than they are today. You could never fit one in your pocket. Good luck Lauriane. I hope you are well.
The unit in the link in Deb's answer sold for what it did because it is made from solid mahogany, and looks to be in excellent condition.
It is a dumb waiter. Really great piece.
It is a shaving table. You placed a large bowl on the tray for water. The little shelf above was for your shaving mug and razor. Places for towels, razor strap, etc.
