Hi! Replace the hoses. I had one split and spray water everywhere. I was lucky to be nearby when it burst or we would have had much more damage. I bought replacement hoses that were reinforced and only slightly more. Hoses wear out from many factors including age and water pressure. Sealants aren't cheap either, so better to spend your money on hoses, is my honest opinion. As to exterior leaks, it depends on where they are, and what's causing them. Good luck and stay safe!
If you know it’s the hose it would be best to replace it. They aren’t very expensive and it would prevent bigger problems.
Rubber hoses do wear out over time and the best solution, as others have advised you, is to replace them with reinforced hoses. We had a similar situation where a rubber supply hose under the kitchen sink burst in the middle of the night, hot water everywhere. It was also due to the sharp angle of the hose that caused it to crack, plus age, it was over 20 years old. So with that, make sure your hoses are set so the water flows freely and there are no necessary kinks or bends. Think of what happens to a garden hose when it has folds in it, the water does not flow and it builds up pressure which may result in a cracked hose.
If it's the hose, you should replace it. If it's the pipe, epoxy putty can be used temporarily. Check at your local home improvement store for a kit to fix leaks in pipes.
I would replace the hose. Good luck!
You can repair it but it is best to replace it since hoses deteroiate over time.
Rusteleoum leak seal is one option - also Permatex -and flex tape
Hello. Replace the hose. They are only a few dollars. I have seen both plastic hoses and braided metal ones and I prefer the braided metal ones.
Permatex works best - https://amzn.to/32LHUcG

Replace the hoses with stainless steel braided hoses. They are relatively inexpensive and last many years. Don't mess around trying to fix old hoses. When old hoses break, they will flood your house. They usually break when you are gone. A friend had a hose break when he was on vacation.
Replace them. Don't take the chance of them sprouting a leak. They are not expensive. You will do far more damage with a leak than 10 hoses would cost.
A replacement hose is cheap. And you don't want a flooded house.
