I’m a bit fall decor, well all seasonal decor, obsessed and my blue canister set was just not sitting right in my kitchen! So I tried thinking of different ways to temporarily cover them and I finally did it - I love them!

For this project I just printed out some fall decor prints I found online! Most of these prints are FREE so it’s very minimal cost!

In addition to printing out the free prints, order a roll of clear contact paper (amazon). You’ll use this at the end.

Take the print and line it up to go around the canister. I printed my prints in landscape on a piece of letter sized paper. It did not go completely around the canister, but I have mine right up against the backsplash so you don’t see the back. But you would always add another piece of paper or use a legal sized paper.

Using scotch tape, tape the paper to the canister. Then go along the top and cut off right along the edge. I left mine I tiny bit longer to fold over instead of cutting too short and having the original blue ceramic show.

Once you have the paper taped and trimmed, apply the clear contact paper over everything. This will add a layer of adhesion and create a barrier against water. The clear contact paper is completely temporary and can be removed from the canisters at any time with no issues!

When you trim the contact paper, keep it a little longer on the top. Go around and fold it over into the canister until all the contact paper is sealed.

Repeat for any other canisters you have. Now you have seasonal canisters that can easily be changed or removed 😊
