How do I cover a solid wood door stained white glass & clear for priv?
This is an oval window with white, clear & beveled glass. Right now I have a foam box filler to cover & using masking tape to hold it up. The door is solid wood so that will be another issue (for my husband not me.) I will try to take a picture, but I just got an I-Phone & I can take a picture but I don't know if I can send to you.

You could put privacy film on the window.
Lots of places (Walmart, Home Depot) etc., sell privacy film. You can find some here: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Artscape-Light-Effects-Old-English-24-in-W-x-36-in-L-Textured-Old-English-Privacy-Decorative-Window-Film/1000204439?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-dcr-_-google-_-lia-_-163-_-windowfilm-_-1000204439-_-0&placeholder=null&gclid=CjwKCAjw2Jb7BRBHEiwAXTR4jf7FlxRZbDHf1-ox2Mc9JoT3p41fUUEotKpaHOMoNWDoVE481-HtaxoCG-IQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Hi Margie, you could make the glass area of your door provide more privacy by "painting" a faux stained glass look on it. Here's some info. You can mix whatever colors you want with white school glue which dries clear and food coloring or a craft paint. You might be able to make the door very attractive if you visualize the colors you wish to use on the frosted area and the clear areas. I hope this helps you think of ways to solve your problem in an elegant way.
There are other videos on the web if you enter faux stained glass. In fact you can find them on Hometalk if you enter that search in the box next to the blue house on the Hometalk home page.

You could add privacy by frosting the glass.

Just remember that while window films are very good for the day the effect is reversed at night meaning people can see in very easily. I bought some window film a few years ago and was NOT happy with it at all.
Here is some good information on frosting glass:

I like using static cling privacy film. I purchased Rabbitgoo brand. If you want to change it, you just pinch and pull off with no mess or residue left behind.
Amazon sells many different kinds of film that is easy to use. There are several privacy ones, go check it out
You can buy windows film is so many great designs which will work.
Hello. We placed a frosted window film on all our bathroom windows and it gives wonderful privacy.
Hi Margie. I recommend using window film to cover the window. There are a lot of shapes, sizes, and colors to choose from. Take a look on Amazon or on Wal Mart.com. I'm sure there's a solution to your problem on one of these sites. Good luck Margie.
Hi Margie,
My wife just covered our bathroom window with window film. It makes it look like patchwork and cheap. If you have a stained glass window, chances are only a few of the pieces need to be blanked out. I don't know if it's still available or not but we used to be able to buy a liquid to frost the clear glass. It won't detract from your stained glass and will blend into most applications in my opinion. It would help greatly if you just figure out how to send along your photo. Just click on SHARE, Add the address if you haven't already, then click the little triangle at the top to send it.
Good luck
Hi! The reflective privacy films give no privacy once it is dark out. However, I have good luck with the frosted look designs, and the ones that look like prisms. I had an issue with my kitchen windows and bathroom window facing a noisy neighbor. I used window film that looked like little cubes. Then I made a point checking them from outside at night. You really couldn't see anything inside, plus the design looked like a prism refracting the light, so even shapes were distorted. Good luck and stay safe!
Hello Margie,
How about a small curtain or blind or sticky backed Contact?
