Porcelain Dots With Porcelain Paint
Transform boring white tableware into a feature, or give china you found in a charity shop a personal touch by dotting pretty patterns in porcelain paint. Dotting is a popular trend. It involves painting on lots of little dots close together in different colours to create unique patterns. You can also use this paint to paint in the usual way, as well as for hand lettering on porcelain. Once painted, bake the paint to fix it so that you can use the crockery as normal.
Paint a stem and a black sphere at the top to form the outline of a flower.
Paint on black lines from the centre of the flower outwards. Start with short dashes, gradually painting longer and longer lines. Leave to dry thoroughly.
You can now start dotting. Dip the end of 1 of the embossing tools into the porcelain paint.
Start by creating different sizes of dots from the centre of the flowers using the various sizes of tools.
Write a fitting message by the drawing using a porcelain pen. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the porcelain paint on how to bake your project.
