how to clean chenille fabric recliner?
Use a handheld bissel. Spray the cleaner on, and suck it out. It will clean very well...just make sure you do it on the entire recliner and then let dry. Otherwise, you may get water stains if you only do it in one spot.

A portable carpet/upholstery cleaning machine will do a great job. We’ve got a bissel and it works well. :)
Hi Sheila, I would just use some mild dish soap and water. You can mix some in a large bowl with water and then use a damp cloth to rub it on. You will have to be careful not to scrub the fabric too hard or it will pill but with a soft cloth you should have no problem. You can repeat this as many times as needed and then so it a finally time with straight water to get any soap removed. Hope that helps!
use powder tide detergent not liquid, add small amt to warm water and clean your recliner then let it dry it will look brand new also works on car seats

I have a dog that likes to sit in my recliner and the pup stinks. Every other week I mix some Pet Zyme in a bucket with about an equal amount of cold water. Then using a microfiber cloth I just wipe the chair down and then let it dry. Amazing the amount of dirt this picks up and the chair smells good after too.
Hi Sheila: Check these sites:
I used a steam cleaner on my chenille couch and it worked great! Of course, I would check the manufacturer's recommendations first. Usually there's a cleaning code on the tag. https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2020/01/steam-cleaning-my-sofa.html
If you do you dish soap on your sofa, make sure you don't use too much. MY pup made a mess on my sofa, and I rushed to clean it. I used to much soap, and now there is a white spot. I need to go back with a wet rag and work on it some more to get the white soap stain out.
steam cleaner will for sure help you out with this process
