Easy Dollar Tree Fall Centerpiece
I recently came across my first dough bowl on clearance and knew I wanted to create a Fall centerpiece with it—I have been wanting to get one for forever!! I came up with this centerpiece using spray paint and all remaining items from the Dollar Tree and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
To fill my dough bowl I purchased 4 packages of these pumpkin decorative picks; 2 small size and 2 of the larger ones. I then used 2 different colors, white and gray in my favorite chalk spray paint. These needed about 2-3 coats to fully cover them.
In addition to the picks, you will also need a bag of grass, some floral foam and 2 wheat sprigs from the Dollar Tree.
Once your picks have dried, trim the sticks so there’s only about 2-3” at the end. Regular scissors should work just fine!
Place your floral foam in the dough bowl. Then place all of the larger pumpkins into the foam, spreading out the colors.
Spread out your grass making sure to cover all the green foam. Next, fill any spaces with the smaller pumpkin picks.
To cut the wheat, I actually used wire cutters which made it easier. I cut to about 1” from the end. I added one sprig to each end of the basket.
That’s all there is to it! I am loving all things neutral and minimalistic this year and I think this centerpiece definitely fits the bill! Centerpieces can be pricy, but since I already had the bowl and spray paint on hand, this cost exactly $9. I also love that I can carry this through from now all the way to the end of November!
