Kitchen sink window?

I have a very similar window. I put a valance across the top for a while but then took it down because I love the view of our fields. I hung a metal "farmhouse" sign just above the window. If you enjoy looking out, I wouldn't cover it with a curtain. You could add a privacy film if that's a concern.

Depends on what you want. Do you want privacy? Do you want to be able to see out the window? Is the current window frosted or clear?

I can't tell from the picture where up is. Is the window a small one a few inches above a counter?

Or is the entire picture sideways?

Hi Peggy, my daughter's house has two of these and she chose to use a frosted glass spray to add privacy but still enjoy the light from the window. It ladds to the modern decor of her kitchen.

Are you wanting suggestions on window coverings that will block the heat from the sunlight, privacy during the daytime, or privacy just after dark?

Don't feel that every window in the home requires fabric window coverings.

If you enjoy the view and the light, perhaps just adding a decoration above the window to fill in the blank space would make the window well look more finished.

Personally I like my privacy in the evening. I would put in a mini blind to cover the window at night. I have a tiny window like this in my bathroom and added a glass shelf that slides out between two pieces of quarter round on each side to clean.

I have a similar window. It looks great with a faux Roman blind (or real Roman if you need to close it) You would have the blind start at the ceiling and go down to the top of the glass. Makes your window look huge and lovely. :)

You could try a tension rod and hopefully get the right effect, I would be hesitant to attach rods to the frame because you may change your mind about curtains or shades. How about painting/stenciling the frame of the window. unless as others have said about privacy as an issue.

I hung a sheer curtain and tied it back with seasonal things. Poinsettias for Christmas, ivy for summer, and cording for fall. Had valances and didn't like the look.

I put up a great 3 inch wide slatted blind. I have the same window and it allows me to close off the world at night

It depends on what your goals are, if you're looking for more privacy, and what your taste is. You could use blinds, curtains, window film, or even do a faux stained glass look. Keep in mind ease of cleaning since it's by a sink.

Do you want ot always covered. They have installation of blinds that you can control but very expensive
