Inexpensive Bathroom Re-Do the Colorado Mountains

2 Materials
2 Days

When I moved into my little condo, there were a variety of projects to do. Money had to be stretched... but I am not afraid of investing "sweat equity." I really like my results... I hope you do too!

Now... THAT is a color!

I knew it was going to require a primer.

...A Project to Tackle

This wall is going to be primed, two coats of white -- and then a grey stencil.

Painting Ceramic Tile

The bathroom had FOUR kinds of tile!! ...One type was on the floor, another on the countertop, 4x4's surrounding the tub -- and this tile with was a "decoration" around the 4x4s.

Painted Tile

Obviously, this tile was in a low-use area... I had no trouble priming -- (then painting) and expect no issues in the future.

Prime Time!

The walls -- primed. (This light is new too... thumbs down on the old one.)

Two White Coats on Walls

This paint was leftover -- from another project!

...A (negative) stencil will be applied over this.

Two Coats of Grey

Color: "Knitting Needles" (Sherwin Williams)

This paint was leftover -- from another project!

Finished! :-)
Aspen Stenciling Complete!

I did the two aspen leaf watercolors too!

Frame on Builder-Grade Mirror

The colored pencil drawing are my work too!
