would like to no how to build a double head board for my bed
Here are a bunch of ideas for headboards: https://www.hometalk.com/search/posts?filter=headboard
Hi! Basically, if you look at most headboards, they are a frame that attaches to your bed frame by the "legs" and a padded section the same width as your bed. When I built one, I used half a sheet of plywood, some 2x4's to create the "legs", a crib size roll of quilt batting, spray glue, a pretty sheet, a staple gun, hammer, screwdriver, screws, etc. I built the frame based on the width of the bed so it would attach to the frame. I also wanted a tall headboard, but, you can decide how tall you want. Once the frame with the headboard panel attached, I wrapped the panel with the batting. If you spray some adhesive on first, it's easy to position the batting. Then I stapled around the edge and up the middle. You can staple the fabric in place or make a slipcover that slides over the top (which makes it easier to remove and wash or replace). Then I bolted the frame legs to the metal frame. You need to work with the dimensions of your bed as far as measurements. Good luck and stay safe!

Timber - One large piece or planks could be fitted together with battens and then the fixings can be purchased from eBay or made to slip over the screw fixers on the bed base or Headboard could be fitted to the wall! You could also use MDF for this purpose . It could also be upholstered if you would like that too.
