Hi B. It will depend on how your folding doors are made. If there are panels that can be punched or cut out then you could remove those and replace them with metal screening. You could attach the metal screening to one side of the door and then add molding to cover the edges.

Hello I-have seen project posts to remove their kitchen cabinet panels with a jig saw and substitute glass or mesh. Perhaps trying that technique might be an option
