For the desk, you could disassemble it and make shelves.

Make use as a Bedside Table, or Sell them! People collect Dolls and Teddy bears, they may buy them too.
Hi Cheryl - I transformed this old vintage school desk. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but may help with some inspiration. Hugs, Holly

Hi Cheryl, I am not sure if they are attached or separate but if they are separate I used mine as a place for my plants. I put a large wooden try on top and then a little terrarium box with all of my plants in and around it.

I used mine to sit outgoing packages, incoming mail, keys, tablet with grocery list. Mine was the lift up top all wooden. If it is the half and half with metal legs, change the color to suit your decorating style. Leave markers and pen for quick notes inside. I put a coat of poly on to preserve where the kids scratched their names etc. I also have and extra chair that I use to put a plant on. You could also put a vase on it with or without flowers.
You could also use the desk to put winter hats and gloves by the door.

You can sand it down and re-stain it or you can paint it. There are many stencil patterns to make it look like it belongs in a school. Make sure you seal it with poly.
Very much I'll try something like that🤔
