Hi...any idea how to put them back on tufted leather couch? Thanks.
Hi Marsha, I'm wondering if you can tack the fabric down in that spot with a stapler or even a screw with a large washer on it? Than you could glue the button over top.
Thank you so very much. The ones that came off are on the cushion and the foam cannot be removed to sew them back on.
Hi! I would try to sew them back on using a kit like this:
Thank you so very much. Will try but they’re on the couch and the foam cannot be removed so I’ll have to see if I can see them back on.
If you don't sew try E6000 glue
Thank you so very much. Since they’re on the couch and the foam filling cannot be removed, will try this glue.
There should be a loop on the back of the button to stitch it to the couch again. If not, then I would go with the glue option. The loop may have broken off in the couch or it may never have been sewn on in the first place.
Thank you so much. The foam cannot be removed so I will try to sew it back with a leather kit someone suggested to me here.
If you can get underneath or behind the sofa you can sew them back on. I agree with E6000 glue. You need something flexible if you can't sew them back on.
Thank you so much. It would be hard to sew on so I will order the glue.
See if this helps you out
Thank you so very much. Will certainly try.

Thank you so very much. I will certainly try.
How to Replace Couch Cushion Buttons
Thank you so very much. I’ll try!
You will need to take the cover off the bottom to get access to add a new one. Then use a large dolly needle to thread a new one through. Replace the bottom again using weed mat.
Hi Marsha, sorry your button came off your couch. I hope this video will help you get your button on again.
In order to get this tight inside the sofa. So that we can perform the slip knot on the outside ofMore

Thank you so very much. Another helpful person replied with same. I appreciate all, thanks.
Hello. Was it sewn on to begin with or glued?
Sewn on. Thanks.
Hi Marsha: You will need a tufting needle and a helper:) There should be a button on both sides of the cushion. I use dental floss to put on buttons as it's pretty strong. Put the floss through 1 button, pull the needle through the cushion at the same holes as they were originally, and then again through the other button. Here's where your helper comes in. Have them stand on the cushion to squeeze it down, but not too much, make a knot in the floss and that should do it. If it's not on a cushion, then get a curved needle, it looks like a C, and attach the button to the floss, stick the needle through new or existing holes a couple times and then knot. That should do it. Good luck
Thank you so much.
Hi Marsha, hope this helps you out,
Thank you so much. Someone had sent it to me, but thanks again, I so appreciate it.
