This is an inexpensive super cute craft project for the Christmas holiday. All you’ll really need is an oven mitt and a mop pad! Continue reading to see how you can create this sweet craft for the holidays!

What you’ll need:

One red oven mitt (Dollar Tree)

One mop pad (Dollar Tree)

Hot glue gun

Anything to embellish your Christmas mitt - I used pinecones, ribbons, flowers, tree ties and a gift tag.

To start with, remove your tags from the mop pad and oven mitt.

We will use the white mop pad as the fur for our mitt.

We will use hot glue to attach the mop pad to the mitt. Add glue on one end of the pad and wrap around to the back placing it just a little higher than the top of the oven mitt so you won't see the edge.

Make sure you leave the loop sticking up and not glued down, so you can use it to hang up your mitt once it's finished.

Pull the mop pad together at the back so they meet.

It should look like this once it's glued on.

Now you can decorate it any way you want!

I used some green tree ties to attach to the fur.

Stick it on with some hot glue. I also added some red berries.

I made a bow with my ribbons by making loops and tied it in the middle with some twine. This is also the best thing to do if you have wording on your ribbons, otherwise the words can end up upside down if you tie it like a regular bow.

I then added a couple of pinecones to the middle of my bow and a poinsettia to give a warm Christmas feeling.

Then I found these cute tags to add. I just love them!

I ended up making a few of these. They are so cute and for less than $5 you just can’t beat it!

There's so much you can make for very little money! Give it a try! Happy holidays!
