I was invited to join a candy bowl challenge over on Instagram. I wanted to do something that was more like my decor. I kind of just bought the big orange pumpkin pail and stared at it for a while. Then I just started making it Farmhousestyle.

Yep they are orange!
Painting

I painted the outsides with three coats of white chalk paint. Then I painted the inside with just black craft paint.

Faux Enamelware

I did as I had done previous to my garland. I painted the rim in black and added black splotches in certain areas that would have seen wear.

Beads for the handle
Making a new handle

I had removed the plastic handle before painting. I grabbed some heavier gauge wire we had and looped that through one of the handle holes. I had some beads left over from a garland I had so I strung them on the wire and looped it through the other handle hole.

Finished

I used some putty to attach some leaves and have them hanging down the handle. And of course it's Halloween so I had to add a spider and lots of candy. I think it turned out pretty cute and will be perfect for my daughters Fall party.
