Step 1. Paint/Stain Beads.

I painted some of the beads orange and I used beads that were already stained.

Step 2. Create Tassel.

I used a piece of thick twine and a lace ribbon to create my tassel.

I wrapped the twine around my hand until it was the thickness I wanted. I then cut the lace ribbon down to about the same length as the twine.

I used another piece of twine to create the tassel

Step 3. String Beads.

I strung the beads onto a piece of twine and created a pattern that I liked.

Step 4. Attach Burlap Leaf.

The burlap leaf I used had a wire at one end. I inserted that wire into the beads at the end of my string and then used hot glue to attach the leaf to the twine.

I would suggest just cutting the wire off next time because the wire made the last few beads of the garland stiff.

Step 5. Paint Leaf

I used acrylic paint and painted the leaf orange.

I thought the orange gave it more of a Fall feel.

Step 6. Stain and Attach FALL Letters.

I used a pack of wooden letter and stained them using Waverly Antiquing Wax.

After the wax had dried I used hot glue to attach the letters to the leaf.
