Hi Margie. We use a product called CLR to keep the shower clean. I have used other products but always go back to CLR . I can recommend this product because I have had good results with it. Good luck Margie. I hope you are well.
Hi Margie - There are several ways to get rid of mold, but most importantly, you need to address the root cause to keep it from returning. This article focuses on the bathroom, but is an overall great article that covers methods of how to remove mold, if bleach is safe to use, and how to prevent it from coming back. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

White cleaning vinegar will kill the spores. If there is staining you will need something to lighten such as hydrogen peroxide or chlorine bleach. To prevent in the future a fan running or dehumidifier product to remove excess moisture.
Hi Margie, I found these posts to help you:
Spray it with vinegar. Vinegar will kill mold.
Do a 50/50 mixture of dawn dish soap and vinegar. Spray and let it sit. Then scrub off with magic eraser.
Once you get it off a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar in a spray bottle will work great as a quick spray after every shower.
Magic Erasers do a great job. Once you have it cleaned and want to keep it that way, try using one of those dollar store squeegees, they work great
Heat up 1 cup of white vinegar, mix in about 1/4 cup of Dawn Premium. Not the dollar store kind, because it is too thin. When mixed, pour into a spray bottle and fill with water. Shake. Spray down the grout and let it sit overnight. In the morning rinse. If you have stubborn stains, spray again. Use this mixture a few times a week. It will keep your grout and tiles clean. Also works wonders in the toilet bowl to keep hard water stains at bay. Oh you only have to heat the vinegar one time when you add the Dawn.

Here is some info to help you out
Hi! Lots of great advice. I would add that you need to improve air circulation and get all that excess moisture out. Otherwise you will continue to have the same unhealthy problem. Good luck!
I posted about removing the mildew but if you will buy a squeezgee from dollar store, walmart, etc and each time you finish your shower, just use this on the walls and door and it will keep mildew problems down
I use Young Living's Thieves for all our surfaces
chlorax will do amazing job
Clorax works great
Hi there Margie,
Spray with a Mildew remover from Bathroom cleaning section of Supermarket or DIY store.
Mississaugahandyman with experience and attention to handling applies bleach to the affected area which immediately dissolves and cleans mildew. For example when we have black marks on the walls and are required to do house painting Mississauga we want to make sure that the mildew does not bleed through number one and number two you don't want to have mildew anywhere in your home for obvious reasons
You could try bleach, a mildew cleaner or maybe hydrogen peroxide.
A half and half mixture of bleach and water. Apply the mixture onto the mildewed area and let it remain on the area. In the future you might spray this mixture every month or so if you do not have well ventilated areas.
