Need to know a cheap easy DIY for a bed frame for a mattress for college kids.
Making a platform for the mattress would be easy and cheap.

You do a platform out of 2x6 pine for the frame and then plywood in place of a box spring. However, I purchase adjustable free standing bed frame last year that goes from twin to king so all sizes. It was only $35.
