Hi Linda, I'm assuming you don't mean ACTUAL wallpaper? You can purchase and install yourself peal and stick tile that might work just fine!
Hi, Wallpaper would not be a good idea, as it will get steamed up and stain and peel.
Better to use Contact type tile covers or to Stencil on your original tiles.
I don't think wall paper will work if on a surface that gets wet? But yes, those peel and stick tiles might work. You're still going to have to make sure no water can get between and behind the sheets of tile.
There is a special type of "drywall" that is used for inside showers and bathtubs, for before the tiles are put on. Ask at your building store and they will know what it is called.
The wallpaper won't stay on with all of the moisture
Wallpaper will not hold up to the moisture in a bathroom. Have you tried calling stores that sell tile or even Home Depot, Lowes? they have contractors the can recommend- wallpaper will peel off, it will get mold and mildew on the paper and behind it as well. You could use the peel and stick tile

I don't advise wallpaper. The moisture from the shower will just make the paper peel right off.
Wall paper will not work in a shower
Depending on what material your shower walls are made out of, and what condition they are in, even peel and stick tiles may not adhere properly.
