I don't know where you live but we have a place called 1-800-old tire. They grind up the tires and blow them into the old strip mines to fill the gaps in the earth. Some people craft with them. Look on line for places in YOUR area.
Hi Maxine, here's some ideas that may inspire you......
You could do yard art. I've seen a frog, coffee cup, and ladybug.
Another idea is to shred and use as rubber mulch. That's what you are purchasing at the store (I have seen the tire size on some of the pieces).
Hi! maybe this will help
Lots of ideas :- Make a Tire Horse to hang on a tree by cutting it , Make a Sea monster by cutting or rather burying tires into the ground to look like humps. Use to Build a tractor or car for children by burying tires into the ground and building a body. Make a Man using tires, a Snowman a Wishing Well, a Planter, Garden edging, etc.....

Hi Maxine, hope this helps you out, I was thinking a garden shed as well!
Give them or sell them only to a licensed, regulated dealer for recycling. If you want to use them for a project, keep in mind they are filthy, so cleaning them, even at a car wash is a good start. Stacked, or single, they can be used for plants. I've seen them made into all sorts of things. Pinterest is a great source for ideas. Good luck!
Chickens love a dust bath, and a tire is the perfect container. Add sand, soil, and diotomaceous earth to a tire big enough for one or more chickens to lay down in, and you've got a chicken party in the making!
Hi Maxine: Oh, so many ways :) You can make swings, planters, edging, dog/cat beds and, some groups use them to make doormats. Check around and see if you can donate them. Here's a site that may help:
If you do a quick search here using the search bar at the top left or online, oodles of ideas pop up, you’ll surely find lots of inspiration.
I take them to Les Schwab.
You can make a kids swing or a planter
tie a rope around one and hand it from a tree!
I've seen them spray painted in bright colors and used as planters. So pretty!
