Hi Bea, if you start with a grapevine wreath as a base you can add petty much any type of flower you want and some leaves, feathers, etc. that can look appropriate all year. Here's a video, it is lengthy but will provide everything you need to know to crate a non-specific seasonal wreath. Sometimes less is more, so you can keep the additions to the grapevine very limited or however suits YOU! Have fun!
You could do a multi color, greenery, one that matches your home, or choose a sports team. You can add a seasonal accent if you would like. My autumn wreaths are on my front and side doors. I had added a "welcome to our web" to one of them and a pair of witches legs to the other. I took them down Sunday but left the wreath.
Nothing more year round than the good old USA red white and blue. You could also use a straw wreath and just change out ornaments for spring summer fall and winter. Change the bow color change the flower colors or got all neutrals like wrapped in burlap with white flowers and greenery.
I imagine you can find or assemble a form shape you like, cover it in something neutral, then change out bits as the seasons change. A foam base would make that easy.
Hi! I personally like rag wreaths and have several I made. If you go with a neutral or non seasonal color scheme, you can go with what looks best on your front door. Right now, I have a burlap wreath on my front door that I can clip things to. Good luck!

Hello have you considered getting a plain grapevine wreath and add accent pieces in it for the different holidays you would like to celebrate?
Having a good base to adjust seasonally might be the best option.
Certainly storage of several seasonal wreaths can eat into your storage space

Hi Bea,
Fill the wreath with all the things that make you happy. Make it in Four sections (one for each season)! Have fun.
