Decorative Luminous Star for Christmas

Create your wooden star to decorate any event or corner of your home. Decorate it however you like and dazzle your friends and guests!

Measure and cut the pieces of the star

Choose the size you want of your star with the tape measure and mark it with the help of the pencil and the square. Cut and sand the ends to polish them and avoid small chips.

As an example, our stars measure: 60 cm the big one; and 40 cm the small one.

Glue the slats

Before pasting, mount the star to know where to apply the glue If there is excess adhesive, don't worry, you can remove it with your fingers. Let the mounting adhesive dry, so that the wood sets well.

In the flat star, place a piece of wood that you have left when cutting so that there is not much difference in height between the slats.

Let dry 1 day.

If you want to make sure the slats don't move, you can also use duct tape instead of masking tape.

Decorate your star with color

Paint the star with the color that you like the most.

Let dry for 30 minutes.

If desired, wear gloves to avoid staining, but the varnish removes well with soap and water.

Decorate your star

You can decorate your star with strings, strips of lights, to give it that final detail.

'Tis the season to shine!!! I love these stars ~ their simplicity is what makes these stars beautiful ~ they add such a nice sparkle to the other holiday decorations. Your instructions are terrific and I will definitely make these stars in various sizes ... why stop at one?!
