Beaded Holiday Wreath
Creating a simple wreath for the holidays can be easy and fun. I wanted to create something that could be done easily with a few supplies. This wreath was so much fun to make.
Gather your supplies, you will need the following:
- Wreath Ring ( I used 19 inch)
- Beads ( I used 25mm and needed 66)
- Greenery of your choice
- E6000 glue
- Floral Wire
- Floral Wire cutter
- Scissors
- Ribbon
Start by cutting the metal hoop. The spot where the hoop is joined is easiest. Once it’s cut, start adding beads. This hoop was 19inches and took 66 25mm beads.
The next step us to glue the hoop back together using E6000 glue. Let it sit for about an hr. This will allow it to dry enough to keep
working.
It’s time to add greenery. I
always position my greenery or other attachments to see how it looks before permanently affixing to the wreath.
Once the first layer is added, add on the second layer. I had to make sure my pick was positioned face up to make sure that it laid flat on the wreath.
Here is what it looks like after second layer has been added.
Add ribbon to cover up the unfinished area and tie a bow. Once done set it aside for a couple of hours so the glue can dry and cure and it is ready to use.
Here is the wreath!!! Love how it turned out.
