Looking for an inexpensive way to decorate your kitchen for the holidays? Try wrapping your kitchen cabinets in bows!

Your kitchen cabinets will look like individually wrapped presents and will definite be the center of attention!

Steps to Wrap Your Cabinets In Bows

  • Purchase Wire Holiday Ribbon (I used 2.5'' wide ribbon)
  • Cut ribbon for long edge of cabinet, wrapping from the back to the front. I like to leave excess ribbon for tying the bow
  • Cut ribbon for short edge of cabinet, wrapping from the back to the front. I like to leave excess ribbon for tying the bow
  • Make your bow (see linked YouTube Video)
  • Attach bow to kitchen cabinet ribbon
  • Repeat until all cabinets are covered in bows

After Christmas, I simply unwrap the bows and pack them up for the following year!

White kitchen cabinets before bows are put on cabinets

Cut two strips of ribbon. One should be 2x the length of your cabinet and the other should be 2x the width of the cabinet. (Shown here I also wrap pictures on the walls to make them look festive)

To make the actual bow, wrap ribbon in about 12'' loops. Wrap the ribbon around so that you have 4 complete loops on each side. Cut the ribbon and attach to cabinet pieces. Watch video below for step by step bow making.

Beautifully festive ! Is that a pantry door in

the corner? A pantry where we need it most !?! Genius, if it is, intriguing no matter what it leads to!
