Cardboard Gingerbread House Garland
This charming gingerbread house garland is made out of recycled cardboard and paper. (And a few sparkly rhinestones for embellishment). The cardboard used? From a case of diet coke!
I used the free printable templates I created for making REAL gingerbread houses to make these cardboard gingerbread house shapes. The only difference? I printed them at 50%. Head over to the blog post to get the free printable templates and instructions for printing the PDFs at half size to make this garland.
Instead of icing, these cardboard gingerbread house shapes were decorated with scrap paper! I used a low temperature glue gun to glue them in place.
I added some inexpensive rhinestones for extra sparkle and fun, and painted the window and door details on with white paint.
My finished gingerbread house shapes were easily glued to yarn to create my finished garland.
Doesn't this cardboard gingerbread house garland look sweet? (Pun most definitely intended.)
