Hi Claire, do you have a pic? Yes you can spray paint any piece of furniture. Just make sure you still sand before hand. Start with something like 180 grit and work your way up to 220. If you are using spray paint, I would seal it with polycrylic spray sealer. Good luck!
I find that RustOleum and Krylon make the best spray paints. Make sure to get the formula for the type of surface you're painting (wood, plastic, veneer). In general, I clean with TSP/scuff with fine steel wool/wipe residue with denatured alcohol before painting.
You can spray paint it. Any spray paint should work on your vanity. First, make sure you prep it well, a light sanding and then cleaning it with a tack cloth.
Hello. I use both spray and paint on Zinsser BIN primer, the one with the shellac base for most furniture projects.
Going from a dark stain to a light color—- a shellac based primer is essential. I spray the primer, lightly sanded with 400 grit, cleaned the dust with a tack cloth and then applied a second coat.

PREPARE:
Always work in a well-ventilated area. Cover the floor and nearby items with a drop cloth. Lightly scuff any glossy surfaces and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth. Use Painter’s tape to hide any surfaces you don’t want to paint.
PAINT:
Using slow, back-and-forth motions, spray paint each item with several light coats of spray paint, making sure to overlap each stroke slightly. Apply 2-3 coats of spray paint, waiting a few minutes in between each coat.
FINISH:
Let spray paint dry for approximately 1 hour before handling.
Tip: Use of 2X Ultra Cover Primer or Bulleye 123 provides better paint coverage and color.
You can spray paint anything. You will need to lightly sand to remove any gloss. Tape off what you don't want painted. Spray with primer, then spray your color. Seal with three coats of a water based poly. If this is inside open windows and be wary of fumes. They are harmful and flammable. I prefer using a foam brush and foam roller.
I would clean the vanity well, let dry. Sand lightly. Use Rustoleum auto primer, it works great on anything. lightly sand again. Then use Rustoleum of your color choice. Remember spraying comes with over-spray. Make sure everything you do NOT want paint on is covered in plastic. You also need to be in a well ventilated room. You do not want to get sick.
Or you can get a good primer and prime the vanity Like Kilz with a roller, sand lightly and get a good Purdy roller and use latex or an acrylic paint on the vanity. Just do NOT use chalk paint.

Hi! I try not to ever use spray paint indoors because of the fumes. After a good cleaning, you can prime and paint using any good quality paint. They also make paint and paint kits for cabinets that hold up well. Both Giani and Rustoleum make excellent kits. Good luck!
When you filled the strip lines, did you use a paintable caulk? That would be my guess.

Yes, you can. Be sure to clean the vanity well and use a multi-surface spray paint.
