Get more storage for my makeup & hair products? I saw where I could use a shoe organizer, but I want to have it right on the side of the cabinet. How can I attach to the sides -use command hooks?

You can certainly use command hooks. This hangar is much bigger and heavier than you have in mind but it shows success!

  • Command hooks should work just fine!

Command hooks in the eyelets at the top of your shoe organizer will hold the supplies well as long as you use the correct weight. If you don't like the organizer moving when you open the door some Velcro in a few spots will keep that issue in check. The shoe pockets are very handy since you can see what are in each pocket. Enjoy!

Command hooks unless you want something more permanent. You could tack up a few small headed nails. If you don't like the look just touch them up with some left over paint you used on the walls.

Hello. Would metal screw in cup hooks work? Or do you not want to use anything that’s inserted into your cabinet?

I have personally had troubles using weight rated command hooks and having items fall to the ground.

If you use Command hooks, I would use a few across the top and bottom of the organizer for extra security.

    Hello, Good luck!

Screw it on or use a Coat Hanger or maybe " S " hooks to hang from top.

yes command hooks. Get the hooks that should hold at least 5-7 pounds just in case.

I would get the command cord bundlers rather than the hooks. You can run them through the grommets on the organizer and then fasten back into itself.

You could use "C" clamps to attach it to the top side of the shoe hanger, or a pants hanger, or a regular coat hanger hooked over the top.

I have hung things with Command Hooks, but will not use them again, the last item crashed to the floor shattering the ceramic plate. The weight was correct for the size of the hook. It looks like the command strip attached to the paint better then the bond of paint to the wall.

Hi Jenilynne: You can get some over the door hangers from the dollar store. Command strips should work, also.

  • I would use command hooks, some of them can hold quite a lot of weight.

I think Command Hooks should work. Try to get ones that will hold more weight - e.g., you can get the ones where 1 hook holds 5 pounds.

Hi! You could also add cup hooks at the top of the cabinet to hold it. Good luck!

Try command hooks. They come off without damaging your dresser.
