How can a sticky glue residue be easily removed from a make up table?
My daughter put a peel and stick design type sheet on top of her desk.It was to just peel off. finally got it off but it is so so sticky.

Try peanut butter. Smear some over it, let it sit, and wipe it off. The oil in it will remove the adhesive residue.
Goo Gone will do the job. Don't use nail polish remover cuz it will damage the finish.
Vegetable oil rubbed on the sticky residue will work and then you can can clean the oil off with blue Dawn soapy water and rag.
Aww 😊, thank you so much Kathy.
i will go try this now.
Have a beautiful day.
A citrus oil, will work (Orange Glow for wood furniture), Goo Gone, Goof Off, just rub it in.
Hello. I like to use lighter fluid to get my stickers and adhesive tape residue or price tags off, the small applicator tip is a great aid for the application of the fluid in regulation of the desired amount. Often an used gift card or razor depending on your surface can assist with peeling off the loose paper or tape.
I hope this helps!

Hi Cassandra: You can try WD40, butter, oil, Vaseline or just warm soapy water. Whatever you choose to use, let it sit on the sticky area for a minute or two to give it a chance to work.
Buy some Goo Gone.
Hello there,
WD - 40 or maybe Surgical Spirit!
I'd use Goo Gone or very hot water on a towel and scrub
You can make your own goo gone: https://premeditatedleftovers.com/naturally-frugal-living/how-to-make-homemade-goo-gone/
