Best way is to use a Rustoleum or Homax tile paint kits if water contact. Otherwise here are a few ways

I would recommend you get a kit like RustOleum tub and tile kit. Follow the directions exactly. Make sure you have a good mask, the kind you use for painting, and vent the room well. If you can get help it is easier as a 2 person job.

You didn't mention if your tiles are ceramic or vinyl but you can do either one. The directions are pretty much the same. First scuff up your tiles, vacuum and clean well, use a coat of primer, then paint and finally sealer. For more information and methods check out this article.

You would need to use a primer that is meant for tile first then a paint with a chalk base will adhere best. I would seal it when you're finished.
