How to Remove Rust Stains from Porcelain Sink or Tub
The best solution I've found for rust stained porcelain (or cast iron enamel) is a paste mix made from hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Make it pretty thick and leave it on there as long as it takes replacing the paste every 1-2 days.
Thank you I will give it try and let you know
This stuff works great.
use lemon juice!
Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.
Try WD-40. Best wishes.
CLR will do it. :)
Hello I would suggest CLR.
Hi Carol: I use a product called L.A.s Totally Awesome Rust, Lime and Calcium (maybe not in that order) Remover. I get it at the Dollar Tree. Let it sit on the stain for about 5 minutes and then rinse well. Don't let it sit for a long time though. Or, watch this and it may help:
Have you tried Mr. Clean Magic Erasers? I've found them to clean everything!
Rustoleum makes a great rust remover. I also like navel jelly. WD 40 will works as well.

Hi! Most products like Bartender's Friend will remove rust. WD40 also works. Even a can of coke! Next consider what's causing the rust. You might want to refinish that part of your sink with a porcelain repair product like Rustoleum makes. Good luck!
Hi Carol, I love CLR to get rust and mineral build up off. It usually does a great job.
CLR Full strength let sit and scrub off
