Two ways, 1. Mitre the corner of the benches to fit together or 2. Fit one bench right into the corner and Butt the other one up to it, or shape to fit if not square. Best wishes.
I would build them with storage so basically a box. After building a window seat with a hinged lid, I wish I had them open in the front rather than the top. I would have much more use for them. The design I'm thinking of is an open box, turned on the side. Something like this:
