Repurposing palm shaped ceiling fan blades?
other than making fan blades into dragon flies, any ideas on what to do with the more oval shaped palm leaf looking ceiling fan blades?

Hi Liz, there are lots of projects here to inspire you:

my ceiling fan blades are oval - like plantation leaves- these do not work
You could take than and paint different scenes and mount them on a wall as a decoration. Also paint them and make signs out of them, such as: Welcome to our house,
The Family's name announcing your residence-The Cairo-Eagan Family,
Here is a bunch from Pinterest, sorry, there is no way to get away without a dragonfly, but there are other suggestions here, take a look:

You could paint them and attach them vertically on a wall for an art piece. You could add frames around each one if you would like.
I saw you had numerous answers when you asked this question a couple weeks ago - here is an idea -

Hello. I think making a faux tree might be an idea. It might be particularly interesting as a wall application in a child’s room if using a jungle theme.
I would turn them into an art piece for the wall and make a large statement tree. You could attach the blades to the wall and use them like leaves.
Is there a way you can layer them to make a Christmas tree?
could they become large flower petals and displayed in the garden?
Hello Liz,
Put them around a Mirror or Picture or Clock and add Shims or other things in between
such as wooden ruler etc. Use them as artificial leaves for large flower arrangements or fix them to a block of wood. Drill a hole through the block and attach a metal spike to fit into the ground or onto a base. Wind turbine? Windmill? Have fun!
I think because of the oval shape of these, I am stuck with either a turtle or a really fat fish.... not what I was looking for - each blade is almost circular so the standard blade projects just do not work.... I keep hoping.....
I'd hang them on the wall like a basket wall
Hi Liz, hope this helps you repurpose your fan blades.

You could paint them and use as decor
I just made an angel out of a basic one. But the premise would work with the oval ones. The blade would be her dress...https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2020/11/fan-blade-junk-angel-diy.html
