I painted some rattan chairs using Bear Ultra Black Evergreen. There are limitless tint possibilities enough to drive yourself crazy. I like to buy the small sample size and actually paint a sizable size sample where it is going to be used. This has saved me more than once.

Also, if you have something that is teal and you want that exact color, take it to one of the big box stores and you can have it color matched in whatever paint you'd like to use (flat, satin, or gloss).
