DIY Dollar Store Splatter Screens Snowman

5 Materials

I really wanted to make a super cute, industrial looking snowman for the holiday season and I think this turned out perfectly! It’s so easy and cost less than $5 so why not give it a try too?

What you’ll need:

Snowman sign

2 splatter screens

Scarf

Silver pipe cleaners

Glue gun

Any embellishments you would like to add

We will be attaching two splatter screens together to create the snowman's body. Take your silver pipe cleaner and wire the screens together so they are overlapping.

Use your pipe cleaner to secure the screens together in a few places. You could also use floral wire if you prefer.

I added some decorative paper to the hat band and some greens and a flower to jazz it up a bit. I just used my hot glue gun to stick these on.

Attach the head to the screens by stapling 2 pipe cleaners to the head and then wiring them onto the top screen.

I then tied the scarf around the snowman's neck.

He's so cute! You could even add some twigs for arms but I left mine like this. I hung it on a door but you can put him up anywhere.

I think it's the perfect addition to my holiday decor! What do you think?

Happy Holidays!

Cute! Take the knobs off and spray the screens white and replace the knobs and he will show up better. But then he is on a white door but I’d try it and if it doesn’t work spray him silver again.
