Gnome Ornaments

I've been loving all of the gnome decor I've been seeing, and I thought it would be fun to add some to our Christmas Tree. Here's a quick and east tutorial so you can do the same!

Use the provided pattern on our website to make the felt hats.

Make pom poms using an extra small pom-pom maker, or see the easy tutorial posted on our website.

Use white embroidery floss or thread to embroider the hats (see examples in pics). A washable/air dry fabric marker is helpful for drawing on your design as a guide for stitching. You can also just stick to the fabric marker and skip the thread.

You’ll then form the hats and glue the edge.

Then glue the pom poms by running a bead of glue around the inside of the bottom of the hat.

Here is one gnome in progress.... almost done!

Then glue on the wood nose on the pom, just below the brim of the hat.

Here is what it looks like with the nose.

Now to add the tiny pom on the top of the hat. Trim the very top of the hat to make a flat surface and glue the pom onto the top.

Lastly, you'll cut the craft string to about 8 inches long (depending on your preference). Then put some glue on the back top of the hat (just below the small pom) and press the two ends of the string into the glue to secure it.

Here they are! So cute, simple, and inexpensive!

Have fun!
