You can use a roll of wrapping paper topped with a roll of drawing or butcher paper to create a beautiful and memorable table runner! I would love to have you stop by my blog , Celebrate & Decorate for more details as well as sign up for my latest creations, posts, recipes, exclusives, and more...

Begin styling this table with a roll of wrapping paper. You can select any wrapping paper color or pattern. Preferably you would want something that does not have a horizontal pattern to it. Roll it down your entire table and onto the floor, leaving the roll on the floor for the time being.

Roll out a solid roll of paper on top of your patterned paper.

Measure the sides to make sure your runner is centered on your table.

Your table will be looking somewhat like this with the layers of papers down the center. If the top paper wants to move around, you can add a little double sided tape here or there to secure it.

Take a piece of your top paper, which could be white or kraft or butcher table. You can go free hand like my friend, Brian did for me, or use a machine to print out words. I selected "Joy to the World". Make sure you leave an ample amount of paper both above and below the message.

Use tape to add the paper with the message to the end of your table, positioning it so the message is read at the end of the table.

Use faux garland as a centerpiece down the length of your table.

Make sure you add enough garland to let it drape over the end of your table and wrap around the words on the table runner as shown above!

Now you have a beautiful table runner for a beautiful Christmas table. You can use this idea for any idea or occasion. To see more of this table, visit here: celebrateanddecorate.com/joy-to-the-world-tablescape/

Gorgeous! Have you seen those Pinterest fails? If I tried this, instead of that beautiful writing, it would look like a First Grader did it.

I need help making inexpensive gifts. Can someone help me?

It looks beautiful.....but not very "guest-friendly" do you remove the garland before serving? there's not very much room for the food, which is really the star of the show in my family.

Beautiful. But only for a pet free, children free home.

Make ornaments. These were from Pinterest. Just need fabric, ribbon & decorative beads etc, and styrofoam balls. You can even use wine corks. Instructions are there too. Photo below.
