Single Bay Window Treatments?
I have three of these and no idea how to make them showcase their beauty in a modern way. Each are a foot deep. I like light flow. But privacy at night.

If you don't want to cover them with a curtain, I would get a pretty wooden blind that tucks up out of the way during the day and can be lowered at night. If you get a white it will hide in the window moulding.
You could add a static cling window film that will allow light in but you can’t see into them.
You can get window films that are frosted that will let he light in but still give you privacy. a sheer curtain would also work

I would suggest that you go with shutters with the hidden (gear) and split tilt.
These work with sash windows and provide several different combinations of being opened/closed to allow for light to enter, allow for fresh air to enter/to provide privacy. Because they fit close to the window and do not require any additional hardware to mount, they will not detract from the beauty of your deep set window ledges.
I would do long drapes that hang on either side of them opening when open. They’ll add height and texture and make the window seem even wider. :)
You could get some shades to open and close depending on the time of day and still get curtains to surround the window for decor purposes only.
i am a bit confused .. are you trying to accent beauty on the outside of the house or inside ?
If you do go with curtains, you will need to mount some kind of tiebacks to prevent the fabric from being pulled into the window/tugged against the screen when the bottom portion of the window is open.

I think a lot of this is going to depend on your taste really, what kind of style you're going for. Window film may work or some sheers. Ultimately I'd encourage you to think outside the box, do some image searches online, and you'll find lots of inspiration.
I cannot see window film working well or looking attractive on windows with grids.
Have you considered one way draw draperies? You can purchase a projection piece to keep them away from the sill. I'd mount sheers behind curtain, for privacy. One way draw would not block view that would occur with a normal set of draperies. You'd have the option of traverse or pull type, and could mount the rod beyond the window width, if desired.
why not just use sheer curtains? you can find them in white or light colors with or without patterns and they will let light in and give you privacy too - if you hang them higher than the top sill it will make the windows look longer and you can decide if you want floor length or just below the window sill also Roman shades would look nice

Apply a lite weight lace tablecloth
Roman shades would work great and you can make or have them made in whatever fabric you'd enjoy.
