Snowglobes?

In my experience, it's usually due to the rubber seal. I have one that is rather large and I gave up. It is for Christmas and I put it on display without the additional liquid. If you find a way to repair them, please let me know. I would love to get mine back into shape. It was a gift and so besides being pretty, it has some sentimental value.

It may need a new gasket if that's where the water has leaked from. If there's a crack, you can use underwater glue to seal it.

Try to find where the water has leaked out and seal it with a silicone sealant.

I would use a silicone sealant or resin.

If the glass is cracked empty it fix the crack with water proof glue and replace the insides using the tips form the link.

Hello. I have refilled many of my snow globes.

Look at the base of the snow globe. On many touristy type plastic snow globes there is a plastic plug on the bottom. I have in the past removed this small plug with needle nose pliers and put new distilled water in the plastic snow globes to completely fill. If you have one of those needle syringe that is used for basting that would be the best way to get the water in otherwise it involves tricky tipping and pouring.

Sometimes it can be done on the vintage glass ones as well — but a tricky repair.

Syringes are the easiest devices to refill with. Actually the syringes from the dentist work best. Replace plug cover with a dab of silicone caulk if desired.

You can try to seal it with silicone, but when mine leaked it was not water. It was a water and oil mix.

If there is no plug in the bottom it is possible the seal has gone. You can refill the globe and put a layer of silicone sealer around the bottom to create a new seal.

Years ago I made several "globes" out of baby food jars and if I remember correctly the liquid was mineral oil. Why not add that and then seal around the glass with a waterproof sealant.

Hi Tina: How about putting hot glue around the inner edge of the top and then screwing the bottle on? That should do it. Good luck
