I love making DIY Christmas ornaments for our tree. They make great handmade gifts as well.

Today I want to share these adorable wood block DIY snowman ornaments with you.

You will love how easy and inexpensive they are to make. In fact, most of the supplies can be found at the dollar store!

First, pick up these items from the dollar store:

  • Tumbling Tower game
  • googly eyes
  • scarf
  • twine
  • foam paint brush

You will also need these items that you probably have in your craft supplies:

  • glue gun and a glue stick
  • white, orange, and black paint
  • thin paint brush

NOTE: If you have trouble finding the Tumbling Tower game at your local Dollar Tree you could use Jenga blocks, mini Jenga blocks, or any other wooden pieces you can get your hands on.

Get started by painting the wood blocks white.

Allow the paint to dry fully before moving on.

Use hot glue to attach the eyes.

Use a thin paint brush to add the snowman's nose, mouth, and buttons.

Allow paint to dry.

Cut a thin strip of scarf and use hot glue to attach to the wood block.

Cut a small length of twine and hot glue it to the top backside of the block to form a loop for hanging.

Just let the glue dry then go ahead and hang them from your tree to enjoy! Or wrap to give as a gift!

ADORABLE ! Such a cute addition to any Christmas tree or to include on a gift, "hanging" it from the ribbon.
