Paint a layer of Mod Podge on your jars and then pour the epsom salts over them while still wet. Allow them to dry and then shake off any excess.

Hello. In the spray paint department there is a glass frosting aerosol product that might be considered.
I have used frosted glass spray paint!
You can just get the Krylon frosted glass spray at Walmart.
If you want sparkle spread on some glue after you paint and roll in epsom salts.
