How to make a DIY embroidery hoop Christmas decoration. This is a cute wall hanging, or you can make it with a small hoop for a fun and easy Christmas tree ornament. This is an easy craft that takes less than an hour, and it's perfect for beginners.

I got my hoop and the fabric from a thrift store. The ribbon and greenery is from Dollar Tree.

You will need an embroidery hoop, fabric, burlap ribbon, greenery, glue gun, and scissors.

Start by taking apart the embroidery hoop. Place the fabric inside where you like the placement. Put the hoop back together and secure it tightly. Use scissors to cut off excess fabric so the edges are clean.

I took off some strands from the burlap to give it a rustic look. You can tie a bow, but my bow making skills aren't the best. Instead, I folded the burlap over and fanned it slightly. Use hot glue to attach to the top of the embroidery hoop.

Use hot glue to attach the greenery. You'll need to press it in place until the glue dries.

Add a ribbon or twine for a hanger if desired. You can also just hang it using the hoop.
