Supplies Needed:

Mini fine mist spray bottle

2 Tablespoons of Vodka *optional

Oil & Water don't mix; therefore, the Vodka helps

Filtered or purified water

10 Drops of essential oils

Labels can be purchased here

Essential oils can work through way through plastic; therefore, a glass spray bottle is recommended.

The bottle & labels can be purchased on Etsy for a few dollars (see the above links).

Pour the Vodka into a small glass spray bottle. Add a few drops of your desired essential oils.

Let the oils sit for several minutes, and then shake well.

Next, add the water.

The strength of your mixture is totally up to you.

Play around with the number of essential oil drops added and write down your ratios. Once you nailed down the recipe, you'll want to recreate it.

In addition to keeping these around the house (especially in the bathrooms), these make gifts for friends and family.

Don't forget to give it a good shake and enjoy icon

I make linen/slwep sprays/air fresheners/fabric fresheners like this all of the time

I only use 80 Proof vodka with no additional water added.

When making these you need want to make sure that your alcohol % remains at or above 25% to avoid the risk of mold/bacteria growing.

This is a good idea for a DIY mosquito repellant, too, using citronella or other bug-repellent oils.
